The Gambit Loft is situated in the heart of Pyrmont, within the historic Pyrmont Woolstores, a collection of former industrial buildings reimagined as character-filled apartments. Retaining its original features, from exposed brickwork to concrete columns and lofty ceilings, the space tells a story of heritage and texture. Once a tired rental, the loft has been thoughtfully transformed into a refined residence for its long-time owner, a place that now feels deeply personal and grounded in warmth. Through the use of natural stone, terrazzo tiles, and an organic palette, the interiors now exude a sense of luxury and sophistication.

We completely started from scratch, retaining only a few original elements: the flooring, the exposed brick wall, and the concrete pillar. To open up the living area, we removed the former sunroom, which had originally cut the living room in half. The master bedroom, once open to that sunroom, was enclosed for privacy by introducing a new wall, which was cleverly designed to house the television on one side and concealed shoe storage on the other.
