Adams Street Home

Curl Curl, NSW

Being an artists home, we wanted each piece within the home to feel carefully curated as if the space was a gallery itself.  Heavily inspired by Japanese interiors, each space is minimal and highly functional. With the use of American Walnut, deep greens and ceramic tiles, the spaces feels warm, textured and understated.

The timber beams on the ceiling carry through to the master bedroom, creating a subtle continuity between spaces. These beams were salvaged from an old Wharf; a nod to the clients, who have lived on the water their whole life.

We designed a custom dining table in solid American Walnut; a special piece that can be detached and taken with the clients wherever they may go in the future. The custom steel doors allow light to be filtered into each space and create the illusion that the space is larger than it is.
